Disney lingerie sets from Japan let you step into the world of a magical princess
Beautiful lace embellishments are just part of what makes these undergarments so special.
“If you dream it, you can be it” is a phrase that’s strangely apt for the lingerie world in Japan, where your wildest fantasies of dressing up as your zodiac sign, your favourite animal or even an Evangelion character really can come true.
Now fantasies are becoming a reality again, with the announcement of a new lingerie line dedicated to some of the most famous princesses from the world of Disney. Created by Japanese online retailer Belle Maison, there are four designs to choose from, each paying homage to a different princess.
The bras are adorned with a beautiful lace embellishment on the left cup that details the silhouette of each princess. In the image below (left to right) you can see the princesses featured in the range: Ariel, Rapunzel, Jasmine, and Belle.
The lingerie sets feature the same colour scheme as the dresses worn by the princesses in the Disney films, and come with a beautiful crystal-like charm on the bra.
The lingerie sets don’t just look great, they’re said to feel great too, as they’re made from a super soft material that’s light on the skin, and the bra has been specially contoured to provide support while creating a beautiful silhouette.
The Disney Princess Bra & Shorts sets are currently available to purchase online for 3,990 yen (US$38.42) each. And if you’re looking for something to wear over the new undergarments, these Disney yukata will do a great job of completing the fantasy.

New cat lingerie sets from Japan are here to give you a purr-fect figure
Dress like a cat under your outfits without anyone knowing…unless you want them to.
Japanese brand Felissimo has carved out a kitty-shaped hole in the market here, filling it with all sorts of feline-related goods, like their cute cat lingerie, which has proven to be incredibly popular during their last three releases.
Called the Narikiri Nyanko Bra & Shorts (which translates to “Completely Become a Kitty Cat Bra & Knickers“), each release has been prettier and comfier than the one before, and now, after a four-year hiatus, the lingerie sets will be making a reappearance this year, with new details fans are sure to fall in love with.
▼ The lineup consists of three varieties, modelled on three different cats: the Russian Blue, the Ragdoll, and the American Shorthair.
The Russian Blue takes its hues from the cat’s elegant grey coat, and comes with braided bra straps and full lace on the back of the briefs for “a sexy rear view”. The bra is also beautifully decorated with a delicate blue bijou inspired by the colour of the cat’s eyes.
The Ragdoll conjures up the long hair and fluffy body of the breed with layers of lace and tulle. The veiled look gives off a feminine flair, while the bra and briefs are decorated with a pink ribbon, as a nod to the Ragdoll’s pink nose.
Rounding off the collection is the American Shorthair, which uses a gorgeous blue striped fabric in homage to the striped pattern unique to the breed.
As seen in the photos above, each set comes with a removable tail, which allows you to walk around like a cat in human clothes without anyone noticing.
The lingerie sets aren’t just cute – they’re designed for comfort too, with soft material inside each cup and a five-row hook closure for a precise fit.
The lingerie sets can be purchased online from Felissimo, priced at 4,607 yen (US$44.29) each. And with a portion of each sale going to charity to help felines and provide assistance for foster pet programs, we might just be tempted to stock up on some of their kitty saliva hair gel and hand cream that smells like cats’ paws too!

Peach John x Japanese comedian Barbie collaborative project releases new line of chic bra sets
The popular Japanese lingerie maker teams up with Barbie to promote body positivity and comfort with stylish designs.
“Visuals, functionality, comfort.” These are the hallmark traits of a new line of Peach John lingerie known as the “Noble Breasts Project” that was released on February 17 in tandem with a forward-thinking Japanese comedian and Peach John’s “Real-Sized Model” campaign.
This is actually the second Peach John collaborative collection based on designs provided by 37-year-old Japanese comedian Barbie (one-half of the comedy duo Fall in Love) and developed with the input of countless other women. “Your breasts are for no one but yourself,” says Barbie of her inspiration for the project. “We are sending these bras so that your noble breasts can spend each day in splendid comfort.”

There are a total of three new bra sets. Each set comes with the choice of two color schemes and matching panties to boot. Let’s now take a look at each of them in more detail.
1. Queen Bra ~ Blown by the Sicilian Wind set
The vivid colors and flower-themed lace of this first set is inspired by the bright colors of the Sicilian coast. In addition to the matching panties, this set also offers you the choice of matching thongs.
2. Ultra Soft Cotton Strapless Bra set
Removable straps mean that you can customize this second set to fit your needs for stability. A lace-up in the center of the bust area also forms a chic accent and is fully functional, allowing you to adjust your cleavage as well.
3. “Let Them be Free” Bra Top set
This third set features the perfect work-from-home bra that Barbie says is so comfortable that you’ll forget you’re even wearing in no time. The fabric stretches easily and allows your skin to breathe in ultimate comfort.
Each set comes in a variety of sizes suitable for breasts and bodies of all shapes. Individual bras in all three of the sets range from 3,980-4,580 yen (US$36.70-42.24) depending on the size while the matching panties range from 1,480-1,980 yen each.
